• (New) 2024.04.09: Mr. Wan Pengfu's paper entitled "Hybrid Heuristic-based Multi-UAV Route Planning for Time-dependent Data Collection" was accepted by IEEE Internet of Things Journal.
• (New) 2024.03.27: Our project entitled "Autonomous Sandy Beach Refuse Collection System with Unmanned Ground and Aerial Vehicles" was successfully funded by Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF).
• (New) 2024.03.16: Four of our works were accepted for presentation at ATRS2024, which will be held in Lisbon, Portugal this July.
• 2024.02.15: Three special sessions of CASE2024 were approved, which are now open for submission: (1) Intelligent Maintenance-Repair-Operation for Mobile Equipment; (2) Blockchain-Empowered Industrial Web 3.0; (3) Digital Twin in Smart Construction.
• 2024.01.17: Dr Xu gave a talk on "Human-Centric Design for Smart Logistics Systems" in IEEE Technical Committee on Digital Manufacturing and Human-Centric Automation Workshop, which was hold by HK PolyU.
• 2024.01.13: Dr Xu was awarded as "Outstanding Special Corresponding Expert" for Frontiers of Engineering Management.
• 2023.12.22: Dr Xu is nominated as a co-chair of Computation Method of Life Cycle Carbon Emission Technical Committee, World Transport Convention.
• 2023.12.16: Mr. Wan Pengfu's paper entitled "Deep Reinforcement Learning enabled Multi-UAV Scheduling for Disaster Data Collection with Time-varying Value" was accepted by IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems.
• 2023.12.02: Dr Xu gave a talk on "Human-Centric Intelligent Transportation System" in 2nd Kongguan Young Researcher Forum, which was hold by Civil Aviation University of China.
• 2023.11.27: Our paper entitled "A multiplex network based analytical framework for safety management standardization in construction engineering" has been published at Advanced Engineering Informatics. [Link]
• 2023.11.25: Dr Xu has been appointed as a member of the Operations Committee of Air Transport Research Society China Chapter (ATRS China Chapter) during The 5th Workshop on Transportation Research, Beijing, China.
• 2023.11.24: Our project entitled "Intelligent Emergency Response based on Cross-Domain Collaboration of Multiple Unmanned Systems" is successfully funded by Shenzhen Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Commission (STIC).
• 2023.11.18: Mr Liu Yongwu's paper entitled "A two-stage dispatching approach for one-to-many ride-sharing with sliding time windows" won the Best Paper Second Prize at Annual International Conference for Digital Intelligence Logistics and Supply Chain Management (DILSCM 2023), Shenzhen, China.
• 2023.11.12: Ms Long Yuying's paper entitled "Dynamic and Collaborative Dispatching of Heterogenous Relief Resources considering Fairness" won the Best Paper Second Prize at International Symposium on Emergency Management (ISEM 2023), Wuhan, China.
• 2023.11.10: Dr Xu visited School of Emergency Management, Wuhan University of Technology, together with Prof. Han Xishuang's team from Harbin Institue of Technology, Shenzhen.
